After the pre­vi­ous post we sent a few pics to Richard Burt, as we are Lib Dem sup­port­ers.  We feel it unlikely that Richard Burt will be stitch­ing up with a heli­copter pad, unlike the out­go­ing Tory Michael Spicer. Sadly Richard failed in his attempt to become our local MP despite the best efforts of local activists.

Also in con­ver­sa­tion with the hacks who’ve been fol­low­ing Nick Clegg for the last few days.  They tell me he is an all-round good egg, and much more of a nor­mal per­son than David Cameron.  If he can put up with the con­stant press scrum and main­tain his good humour he deserves to be PM!
